Our Final Cut

Actors

We've chosen the actors which will star in our Thriller. Here is the main cast;

Bill Robbins (Callum Pete)

The leader of the group and main protagonist of the film. He seeks to find him and his friends safety.

Jerry Cuvette (Glenn Curran)

The slightly Geeky, well informed outcast of the group. He aims to help the group with his information and skills.

Ben Raven (Will Smith)

A laid-Back character who takes the downfall of his country, and the beginning ofpost-Apocalyptic era
And it's totally Will Smith.

Terrorist (Hristo Savov)

A Cameo appearance, where Hristo Savov acts a terrorist who's aim is to release the damaging biological weapon.

Getting permission for filming

We have written out and sent off the Risk assessment forms, and were in turn sent a message confirming that we had permission to film in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Our Locations

We have chosen the places in which we will be filming for our film.

Bus Stop, Lime Kiln, Highstreet.

Just off the road, and opposite St. Bartholomew's is a bus stop with a bricked seating area. This is an effective place to film for the effect we want our audience to get- It looks quite urban, and is beside a very busy road. 

Royal Wootton Bassett Highstreet

 The Highstreet is another busy place which is suitable area for our shot where our terrorist is walking through the town. 

BoroughFields

This is a shopping center, and will be the target of the attack. 

Shutdown Co-Op

This shutdown Co-op store looks very rundown and unused, and generally is not n such a pleasant state. It's quite quiet here bar from the occasional alarms, which would only add to the Post-Apocalyptic effect we're trying to give the audience. However, it's likely we will have to use an effect to give it a dull yellow hue to drain out the colours from the scene a little, giving it a more apocalyptic feeling, as it would give the effect of devastation and lifelessness.

Script and Call Sheet

We wrote a script for our actors and a call sheet for our staff, telling them what will be needed, at what times top be there, etc.

Characters;
-Bill Robbins
-Ben Raven
-Jerry Cuvette

                    Silence. Bill and Ben are smoking, sat on the steps. Jerry is sharpening a knife. Not a word        is spoken for about 10 seconds into the scene.

Ben;       Well, we’re still alive… I guess we’re not doing too badly?

                    Another silence, lasting about 5 seconds.

Jerry;     So… What do we do now?

Bill;        What is there to do? We’ve just gotta find a way to survive. Everyone else’s probably dead       by now. Else, they’re killing themselves or the guy next to ‘em.

Ben;       At least we get free shit, heh.

Bill;        (Sarcastically) Yeah. This country’s been royally Screwed, but at least we get everyone’s            stuff.

Ben;       I still don’t get how this crap began.

Bill;        Some biological weapon which messes people up, I dunno.

                    Jerry Stops sharpening the knife.

Jerry;     It was actually a virus which effects human behaviour, making them much more violent             towards other humans, it was supposedly being developed for use by the Russians     somehow, in 1985, but was stolen by the-

Bill;        (Interrruptings!) what ever, man, the important thing’s that it was used on us, and now shit’s screwed up. Look. We just need to stay away from people.

Ben;       Screw that. We’re screwed anyway. We might as well have fun with ‘em.

                    Pause.

                Jerry, Sharpen the goddamn knifes!

                    Ben throws an object in  Jerry’s direction. Jerry hastily begins working on the knife again.

Props

News Broadcasts

• Paper or Laptop- Will be used by the news presenters during news story montage. 
• Terrorist's weapons- A vial containing the virus will be used during the montage of CCTV footage.
• Desk- the news presenters will be sat at a desk during the montage.
• Benches- Sat on by the terrorist.
• Busses- In one shot during the CCTV footage montage, a terrorist will be seen through CCTV footage climbing into one of the busses.
• Greenscreen- Will be used in the News story montage. We will use a greenscreen for the background of the news studio, and put a professional background behind the presenter as he is telling the news story.

Survivors Scene

• Knife- Will be held by the survivors.
• Cigarettes- Will possibly be smoked by the survivors whilst they sit on steps.
• Beer cans- The survivors may be drinking while they speak.
• Stairs- The survivors will be sitting on these steps. 

Costume

News Presenters- 

These characters will have to look rather professional, tidy and kept.

• Wearing suits
• Black trousers
• Tie
• Watch and perhaps ring.

Terrorists-

These characters may have to look more thug-ish and threatening. 

• Bandanna 
• Hoodie
• Jeans

Infected-

These people will have been normal, innocent civilians before they became infected. 

• Scruffy, dirty and bloody clothing.
• Jeans
• Casual T-Shirt
• Perhaps a tag

Survivors

Ordinary people, fighting for their lives.

• Scruffy and unkept clothing.
• Jeans
• Buttoned Shirt
